Everyone thought that tortoise had no chance to win against the fast hare.
The hare was far ahead so he went to sleep under the tree.
While the hare was sleeping the tortoise took the lead.
The hare tried to catch up but he is was too late. The tortoise won the race!
The moral of the story is 'slow and steady wins the race'.

You worked hard on this story in class last week. I love your picture of the tortoise crossing the finish line. I like the way you have used correct spelling and punctuation in your writing, good work. You have re-told the story by taking the most important parts from the YouTube clip you watched. Did you think the tortoise was going to win when you started watching? I bet you didn't... Just goes to show just because your the fastest it doesn't automatically mean you can beat everyone.
