Maui and his brothers went fishing. They couldn't fish for long because the sun went to fast across the sky. Maui and his brothers made a net to hold the sun. They threw the net over the sun to make the sun slow down when he went across the sky. Maui hit the sun with a stick, the sun said what did I do to you? You need to slow down said maui. The sun promised to slow down. Maui and his brothers could fish.

What an amazing piece of writing, I haven't read Maui and the sun since I was at primary school so this has re-jogged my memory. I like the way you have used the correct spelling and punctuation in your writing and you have re-told the story so clearly, including only the most important parts. Your picture is very good.
